Problem
Financial illiteracy is a widespread problem among teenagers, leaving them unprepared for the financial challenges of adulthood. Many teenagers lack basic knowledge about managing money, budgeting, and saving. This lack of financial literacy can lead to poor financial decisions and irresponsible spending habits.
Solution
This eLearning course aims to bridge the financial literacy gap among teenagers by providing them with the essential knowledge and skills they need to make informed financial decisions. The course is designed to be interactive and engaging, using relatable content and contexts that resonate with teenagers' lives.
Overview
This project was developed in April 2022 as part of a module on the MA E-Learning and Technical Communication programme at the University of Limerick, Ireland. The project brief requested the design and development of a digital educational resource. The course consists of one module comprising three lessons, three interactive formative assessment tasks and one summative assessment task.
